When I bought my first deck of Oracle Cards - Ascended Masters by Doreen Virtue - it sat unopened on my shelf for 18 months. I was drawn to them because I knew something psychic and “weird” was happening for me, but I had no clue what to do with the cards.

When I finally opened that first deck, I learned through trial and error. I experimented, observed others, learned to run their opinions and thoughts through my own filter and slowly gave myself permission to do things my way.
That’s when the magic happened!
For example, early on, I was told that if cards “jumped out” of the deck, they weren’t for me. But I thought, Fuck it, let’s use the jumpers. Turned out that the messages of those cards that fell on the floor or table were bang on and deeply resonant.
NOW, I BLOODY LOVE HOW ORACLE CARDS CAN CUT THROUGH THE OVERTHINKING AND DELIVER EXACTLY THE RIGHT MESSAGE AT THE RIGHT TIME. SOMETIMES, IT'S CONFIRMATION; OTHER TIMES, IT'S A NEW PERSPECTIVE I HADN'T CONSIDERED. EITHER WAY, THE GUIDANCE IS ALWAYS PROFOUND.
